actually, since Xtrans needs them, add the new -DHAVE_GETADDRINFO, -DHAVE_INET_NTOP, and -DHAVE_STRUCT_SOCKADDR_STORAGE to X11FLAGS.CONNECTION. xdm/xinit gains -DHAVE_ASPRINTF. libX11 gets xim_trans.c compiled properly.
variously define DHAVE_GETADDRINFO, HAVE_INET_NTOP, HAVE_STRUCT_SOCKADDR_STORAGE, HAVE_EXPLICIT_MEMSET, HAVE_PATHCONF, and HAVE_UNISTD_H. comment define for HAVE_MEMFD_CREATE in libxshmfence, needs testing.

Drop -O[01] hacks for vax; no longer necessary for patched GCC 10
PR port-vax/57646: Import major vax toolchain fix by Kalvis Duckmanton
XXXRO: GCC 12 may require hacks for a while, but it turned out that
GCC 12 should be treated differently from older versions; a lot of new
files need -O[01] flags, while some may no longer require it.
I will take a look later.
Note that these hacks are not required if Kalvis's patches for GCC 12
are applied.
Keep doc/HACKS entries for a while (will be sync with update for GCC 12).

updates for libX11 1.5.99.902:
- remove ja.S90 and ja.U90 locales
- use -Wno-error for files that use (now deprecated) XKeycodeToKeysym()
- add -I${X11SRCDIR.X11}/src for xicmp
- add stub for _XGetRequest()

Disable new -Wstring-plus-int warning where needed for now. Adjust various places that add GCC-only options to check for the active compiler first.

fix build libX11 1.2.
Sprinkle -DXCMS where it is needed. I considered adding a config.h for libX11, but that would make other things more complicated (such as the differences with the static build). Among other things, this makes icewm display proper colours instead of random values taken from the stack.
Sort the list of CPPFLAGS definitions by file name.

XXX: -Wno-error for StBytes.c
initial import of the crossbuild framework for modular Xorg. this is heavily based upon the work rtr@ did on src/x11, but hacked to work for modern modular Xorg source split. the sources will live in xsrc/external/mit/<package>/dist. documentation on using this will come when the above directories are fully populated. there are 192 of them so it may take some time before that is completed.
