It is replaced by kernel threads that do the same thing. The number of
kernel threads used is set with the vfs.nfs.iothreads sysctl.

#!/sbin/sysctl -f

# sysctl(8) variables to set at boot time.

# Default core name template:

# Number of kernel threads to use for NFS client
#vfs.nfs.iothreads=4
