           install(1) had a '-N dbdir' option added, to specify an
           alternate location to look up users & groups (instead
           of the host system passwd(5) and group(5) databases).
   
           The build system was modified to take advantage of
           this option (using ${NETBSDSRCDIR}/etc), so if you
           use USE_TOOLS==no, you may have to rebuild and
           reinstall usr.bin/xinstall first.
