update to 1.06.38 this switches to the "super stable" branch which is the only one where tarballs are distributed of, too many changes to list here, the most notable recent one is that the recent expat DOS vulnerability was fixed, as were some portability issues which caused problems on NetBSD

Initial import of xmlrpc-c-1.09.00: XML-RPC is a quick-and-easy way to make procedure calls over the Internet. It converts the procedure call into XML document, sends it to a remote server using HTTP, and gets back the response as XML. This library provides a modular implementation of XML-RPC for C and C++. XXX: build system is custom-made (i.e. not using libtool), PLIST will be wrong for many OPSYS -- please fix!
