Recursive bump for perl5-5.28.0
Remove amanda-dump-snap from suggested options for NetBSD <= 6.x, as a workaround for PR kern/52120. Bump amanda-client PKGREVISION
Add support for NetBSD wedge names. Bump versions.
In amanda*, reduce default options. Add an 'ndmp' option, disabled by default. Disable kerberos option by default. These two changes allow amanda to build again on OS X. My belief, posited on pkgsrc-users without contradiction, is that no pkgsrc users use these features anyway. Normal amanda usage these days is over ssh (which gets one PFS). NDMP is for direct dumping of NAS: usage is probably rare and also in large installations where rebuilding is not hard. All in all, I thought it better for the pkgsrc/amanda universe to have consistent options across platforms than to selectively disable on OS X.
Remove SVR4_PKGNAME, per discussion on tech-pkg.
* .include "../../devel/readline/buildlink3.mk" with USE_GNU_READLINE=yes are replaced with .include "../../devel/readline/buildlink3.mk", and USE_GNU_READLINE are removed, * .include "../../devel/readline/buildlink3.mk" without USE_GNU_READLINE are replaced with .include "../../mk/readline.buildlink3.mk".
Drop superfluous PKG_DESTDIR_SUPPORT, "user-destdir" is default these days.

Add SPECIAL_PERMS entries for binaries the need special perms. Because of the above change switch all amanda packages to user-destdir support.
Add --without-gnuplot to CONFIGURE_ARGS for amanda-{common,client,server}.
Miscellaneous makefile clean up.
Add a version.mk file with AMANDA_VERSION in it and use that in all amanda packages (including the meta-package) and in the buildlink.
Move the amanda-client option definitions to the common options.mk so that 'PKG_OPTIONS.amanda' works properly.
Convert AMANDA_SMB and AMANDA_DUMP_SNAP build defines to pkg options.
Pullup previous changes on HEAD to pkgsrc-2010Q2 branch to fix branching error, and to sync with reality.
Basic DESTDIR support
Recursive ABI depends update and PKGREVISION bump for readline-6.0 shlib major change. Reported by Robert Elz in PR 41345.
Disable IPv6 by default, since this doesn't work on systems which are configured for IPv4 only. IPv6 can still be enabled via PKG_OPTIONS. Fixes my PR pkg/38957 ok gdt@

Bump version or revision of all packages that have a runtime dependency on gzip.
Whitespace cleanup, courtesy of pkglint. Patch provided by Sergey Svishchev in private mail.
Remove explicit GNU tar dependency. It is an unnecessary alternative and the tools framework already does the right thing. Bump revisions.
Add a new option, --with-dump-use-snapshot to amanda's configure script. This will cause amanda to add -X to dump on systems where this option is available (AFAIK NetBSD 3.0 and newer). Add the user-settable variable AMANDA_DUMP_SNAP to control this at the package build time (disabled by default). Bump pkgrevision.
Recursive revision bump / recommended bump for gettext ABI change.
Prevent paths of the build directories from being included in all amanda packages. Set runtime dependencies on GNU tar and gzip for all amanda packages. Bump PKGREVISIONs to 1 for amanda-client and amanda-plot, to 2 for amanda-common and amanda-server.
Remove USE_BUILDLINK3 and NO_BUILDLINK; these are no longer used.
Update amanda to 2.4.4p4 Bug fix release and minor improvements: new chg-iomega changer script. amanda will not use a tape if it's label is not in the tapelist file. amflush.c: Don't start a driver if nothing to flush. amadmin.c: Call check_dumpuser() as soon as posible. amadmin.c: Don't core dump if DUMPCYLE is too big. dumper.c: Parse warning message.
Fix build after amanda-common had its PKGREVISION bumped: no need to set an explicit DEPENDS on it, let sysutils/amanda-common/buildlink3.mk take care of it.
Libtool fix for PR pkg/26633, and other issues. Update libtool to 1.5.10 in the process. (More information on tech-pkg.) Bump PKGREVISION and BUILDLINK_DEPENDS of all packages using libtool and installing .la files. Bump PKGREVISION (only) of all packages depending directly on the above via a buildlink3 include.
Update the amanda packages to 2.4.4p2. From Paul Shupak in pkg/24550, with some additionnal fixes by me.
Convert to buildlink3.
s/netbsd.org/NetBSD.org/
Use tech-pkg@ in favor of packages@ as MAINTAINER for orphaned packages. Should anybody feel like they could be the maintainer for any of thewe packages, please adjust.
Convert to buildlink2. Remove dependency on readline -- it does not get used, contrary to what a comment (which has now been annotated) here says.
Changes to make amanda* work nicely on Linux: - do not depend on gtar; GNU/Linux tar is gtar, obviously - set AMANDA_GROUP as on NetBSD and Darwin
Allow to depend on ja-samba package as well as samba package.
Change the gtar depends line to {gtar,gtar-base}>=1.12:../../archivers/gtar-base amanada-client only needs the gtar binary and not the gtar meta package. gtar-base didn't exists in the past, but the old gtar package is enough for this package, thats why we also allow to use the old gtar package.
Remove duplicate line.
SVR4 packages have a limit of 9 chars for a package name. The automatic truncation in gensolpkg doesn't work for packages which have the same package name for the first 5-6 chars. e.g. amanda-server and amanda-client would be named amanda and amanda. Now, we add a SVR4_PKGNAME and use amacl for amanda-client and amase for amanda-server. All svr4 packages also have a vendor tag, so we have to reserve some chars for this tag, which is normaly 3 or 4 chars. Thats why we can only use 6 or 5 chars for SVR4_PKGNAME. I used 5 for all the packages, to give the vendor tag enough room. All p5-* packages and a few other packages have now a SVR4_PKGNAME.
Upgrade to 2.4.2p2
- Migrate BUILD_DEFS to Makefile.common - Apply the patch from pkg/13188 by Ron Roskens <roskens@elfin.net> to fix problems with hard-coding /var/amanda. - Remove USE_X11 from amanda-server since amanda-plot has already been split out. - Don't explicitly look for headers in ${PREFIX}/include.
CPPFLAGS is now passed to MAKE_ENV and CONFIGURE_ENV by bsd.pkg.mk, so adapt by moving CPPFLAGS settings to top-level, and removing explicit inclusion of CPPFLAGS into MAKE_ENV and CONFIGURE_ENV.
The buildlink include and lib directories are added to CFLAGS, CPPFLAGS, CXXFLAGS, and LDFLAGS by the buildlink.mk files so remove the extra definitions to add them from the package Makefiles. As advised by the bsd.buildlink.mk file, also ensure that the buildlink.mk files are included prior to defining any package-specific CFLAGS/LDFLAGS to ensure that the buildlink directories are at the head of the compiler search paths.
Remove dependency on ${BUILDLINK_TARGETS} in pre-configure and pre-build targets as the buildlink.mk files now add the dependency automatically. Remove any NO_CONFIGURE definitions as they seem to be useless.
Use buildlink.mk to get readline dependency, and use libedit readline emulation where possible. Only link readline into amrecover as it's the only program that needs readline.
Update to new COMMENT style: COMMENT var in Makefile instead of pkg/COMMENT.
Upgrade of the amanda packages from 2.4.1p1 to 2.4.2.
USE_PKGLIBTOOL -> USE_LIBTOOL. While I'm here, convert it from addnerd to user.
Depend on version 4.0 or newer of the "readline" package.
s/USE_LIBTOOL/USE_PKGLIBTOOL/ Add a new USE_LIBTOOL definition that uses the libtool package instead of pkglibtool which is now considered outdated. USE_PKGLIBTOOL is available for backwards compatibility with old packages but is deprecated for new packages.
Depend on Samba 2.0.0 or newer instead of 2.0.*.
wildcard samba dependency, as reported in pkg/9554
Split out the common code in the amanda make files into amanda-common/Makefile.common.
Minor nit in DEPENDS line.
Record build options in the BuildInfo file via BUILD_DEFS. These can be displayed using the -B option to pkg_info(1).
Update samba dependancy.
Update readline dependency.
Remove unnecessary assignments of "INSTALL", "INSTALL_DATA", "INSTALL_PROGRAM" and "INSTALL_SCRIPT" from "CONFIGURE_ENV".
Fix for Solaris.
Move "amanda" related packages to "sysutils" category as suggested by Klaus Klein in PR pkg/7159.
Adjust for samba update.
Add a new make variable, AMANDA_VAR, to tell the default place of the status and log files (default to /var/amanda). Change the example amanda.conf to use this path. Add --with-owner=root to CONFIGURE_ARGS so that executables get installed as root, not AMANDA_USER (better for security!).
An amanda 2.4.1p1 package, split into common, server and client parts.
