In the above commit, the homepage URLs were migrated from http to https,
assuming that SourceForge would use the same host names for both http and
https connections. This assumption was wrong. Their documentation at
https://sourceforge.net/p/forge/documentation/Custom%20VHOSTs/ states
that the https URLs use the domain sourceforge.io instead.

To make the homepages from the above commit reachable again, pkglint has
been extended to check for reachable homepages. This check is only
enabled when the --network command line option is given.

Each of the homepages that referred to https://$project.sourceforge.net
before was migrated to https://$project.sourceforge.io (27), and if that
was not reachable, to the fallback URL http://$project.sourceforge.net
(163).

pkglint --only "https instead of http" -r -F

With manual adjustments afterwards since pkglint 19.4.4 fixed a few
indentations in unrelated lines.

This mainly affects projects hosted at SourceForce, as well as
freedesktop.org, CTAN and GNU.

Remove pkgviews: don't set PKG_INSTALLATION_TYPES in Makefiles.

Change HOMEPAGE to original mirror's one, instead of Windows porting one.

Drop superfluous PKG_DESTDIR_SUPPORT, "user-destdir" is default these days.

Use dynamic linking by default.  ok wiz

Also, use the default FD_SETSIZE so that syscall interceptors have
a better chance of getting lucky.

Remove @dirrm related logic.

remove non-working mirrors.

Removed ftp.rge.com from MASTER_SITES, doesn't resolve anymore
in DNS. Mentioned by Zafer Aydogan in PR pkg/37321.

Explained why netcat is installed in sbin/ and netcat6 in bin/.

Added support for installation to DESTDIR.

Fixed PKGMANDIR.

Point MAINTAINER to pkgsrc-users@NetBSD.org in the case where no
developer is officially maintaining the package.

The rationale for changing this from "tech-pkg" to "pkgsrc-users" is
that it implies that any user can try to maintain the package (by
submitting patches to the mailing list).  Since the folks most likely
to care about the package are the folks that want to use it or are
already using it, this would leverage the energy of users who aren't
developers.

Fixed a pkglint warning.

Set BUILD_TARGET for Darwin.

Remove USE_BUILDLINK3 and NO_BUILDLINK; these are no longer used.

netcat doesn't have a build target for DragonFly BSD,
so use "freebsd".

This was reported by Peter Schuller on tech-pkg. (He said
target "netbsd" also worked.)

Remove ftp.gw.com (mirror discontinued).

Note new homepage for netcat.

I'm unable to maintain this package.  (No homepage found; move to gnetcat.)

Rename ALL_TARGET to BUILD_TARGET for consistency with other *_TARGETs.
Suggested by Roland Illig, ok'd by various.

Allow ALL_TARGET to be something that's settable per-${OPSYS}, and set it
to "netbsd" for OpenBSD.  This fixes PR 24536.

Move WRKSRC definition away from the first paragraph in a Makefile.

Convert to use buildlink2.  Remove s/make/${MAKE}/g changes in patch-ae
made unnecessary by tools.mk.

Original homepage refuses connections; substitute it.

correctly set ${MAKE_ENV} before calling ${MAKE}.

Use LOWER_OPSYS as the make target. This works for netbsd and solaris;
hopefully for others too. Addresses PR#21045.

Update netcat to netcat-1.10nb1
Merge two netcat.c patches into a single patch file, remove unneccessary
call to res_init() and pass correct make options for Linux and (untested)
Solaris.

Update to new COMMENT style: COMMENT var in Makefile instead of pkg/COMMENT.

Add manpage.
