GStreamer 1.24.0 new major stable release
The GStreamer team is excited to announce a new major feature
release of your favourite cross-platform multimedia framework!
As always, this release is again packed with new features, bug
fixes and many other improvements.
The 1.24 release series adds new features on top of the previous
1.22 series and is part of the API and ABI-stable 1.x release series
of the GStreamer multimedia framework.

Import gst-plugins1-mpeg2dec-1.0.3 as multimedia/gst-plugins1-mpeg2dec. GStreamer is a library that allows the construction of graphs of media-handling components, ranging from simple mp3 playback to complex audio (mixing) and video (non-linear editing) processing. Applications can take advantage of advances in codec and filter technology transparently. Developers can add new codecs and filters by writing a simple plugin with a clean, generic interface. This package provides the mpeg2dec plugin for GStreamer, an MPEG 1 and MPEG 2 video decoder.
