At gdt's suggestion, put emacs-nox11 in bulk-medium; it doesn't pull
in rust. The x11 emacs, which does, goes in -large, as does
emacs-packages, which will pull it in by default.

As before (but this wasn't visible in -medium's commit log) depend on
the meta-package instead of an explicit emacs version.

This moves the version of emacs we're building from 26 to 28. As best
anyone's been able to figure, the only reason these were building 26
was bitrot. :-|

While here,
  - don't list xemacs in both -medium and -large; it goes in -medium;
  - list xemacs along with xemacs-packages; this does not change what
    actually happens, but makes things a lot clearer to passersby.

bulk-large: get emacs from the editors/emacs metapackage

This way we don't have to track the default version explicitly, which had
bitrotted.

bulk-large: fix previous by putting bsd.prefs.mk in the correct place

bulk-small/medium/large: restrict rust to bulk-large

Rust is too expensive for bulk-medium (let alone bulk-small, where it's
crept in recently via libimagequant.)

Move the packages that were pulling it in to bulk-large.

XXX: Since this includes (modern) emacs we may need to reconsider :-|

bulk-{medium,large}: move inclusions of bulk-* to the top, expand explanation.

Mass-change BUILD_DEPENDS to TOOL_DEPENDS outside mk/.

Almost all uses, if not all of them, are wrong, according to the
semantics of BUILD_DEPENDS (packages built for target available for
use _by_ tools at build-time) and TOOL_DEPEPNDS (packages built for
host available for use _as_ tools at build-time).

No change to BUILD_DEPENDS as used correctly inside buildlink3.

bulk-large: remove the older mysql of the two so this package can be built
by non-pbulk users. remove valgrind because it's rejecting my OS/arch combo
and is probably not a sufficiently portable package. bump version.

bulk-large: Attempt to build fewer deprecated/obsolete packages.

Use logical replacements where possible - e.g, mpv is the more-common-now
fork of mplayer, quassel is now a more popular Qt IRC client than

bulk-large: fix atril version pattern string

bulk-large: Update to 20190915

Obsolete packages:
- evince, replaced with atril
- gstreamer0, replaced with gstreamer1
- py-gtk2, replaced with py-gobject3
- qt4, replaced with qt5

Changed PYTHON_VERSIONS_INCOMPATIBLE to PYTHON_VERSIONS_ACCEPTED; needed for future Python 3.8

bulk-large: postgresql93 is no more, unbreak bulk builds.

Remove gnome2 meta packages.

We should have ones for gnome3, and many packages for gnome2 are not even
up-to-date.

Omit mentions of python 34 and 35, after those were removed.

- Includes some whitespace changes, to be handled in a separate commit.

PKGREVISION bump for anything using python without a PYPKGPREFIX.

Remove teTeX* packages and references to them.

teTeX was desupported in 2006, and we have texlive in pkgsrc since 2009.

Replace texlive-collection-genericrecommended with
texlive-collection-plaingeneric.

Possibly should replace all the TeX packages with just
texlive-collection-all.

Update to 20160621.

Extend PYTHON_VERSIONS_INCOMPATIBLE to 35

Nail down the versions of cups, evince, wine, mutt, gnupg2, and icewm to
get the intended version and not an alternate one.

Switch these to build mysql 5.5 and 5.6 instead of 5.1 and 5.5.

Recursive PKGREVISION bump for all packages mentioning 'perl',
having a PKGNAME of p5-*, or depending such a package,
for perl-5.22.0.

Update more libsoup path.

Deal with rename of texlive collections.

The gnome-admin meta package was deleted, remove from here too.

bulk-large-20141120: Provide PostgreSQL 9.3, the default version.

Bump PKGREVISION for cups -> cups15 change.

Removed databases/db46

Mark packages as not ready for python-3.x where applicable;
either because they themselves are not ready or because a
dependency isn't. This is annotated by
PYTHON_VERSIONS_INCOMPATIBLE=  33 # not yet ported as of x.y.z
or
PYTHON_VERSIONS_INCOMPATIBLE=  33 # py-foo, py-bar
respectively, please use the same style for other packages,
and check during updates.

Use versioned_dependencies.mk where applicable.
Use REPLACE_PYTHON instead of handcoded alternatives, where applicable.
Reorder Makefile sections into standard order, where applicable.

Remove PYTHON_VERSIONS_INCLUDE_3X lines since that will be default
with the next commit.

Whitespace cleanups and other nits corrected, where necessary.

tex-collection-documentation-base-doc has been removed from TeX Live.

Bump all packages for perl-5.18, that
a) refer 'perl' in their Makefile, or
b) have a directory name of p5-*, or
c) have any dependency on any p5-* package

Like last time, where this caused no complaints.

meta-pkgs/bulk-* are just for build test purpose:

Drop ruby-rails3 and ruby-rails31, which are going away.

woops, fix further scan lossage

Fix more pbulk-scan problems. I ran it through pbulk-scan, but I must
have messed up, as all of what this commit changes was definitely wrong.

There are altogether too many packages whose PKGNAME and PKGDIR don't
match.

These now pbulk-scan properly.

Add three meta-packages, bulk-small, bulk-medium, and bulk-large.
These are lists of packages that can be used to do restricted bulk
builds on small/slow machines without having to spend time researching
which packages to include.

They are supposed to take roughly 1 hour, 8 hours, and 24 hours on the
arbitrarily chosen yardstick of my build machine; my hope is that this
translates into only moderately crazy lengths of time for slow
platforms where a full bulk build takes 6-8 months.

The lists will doubtless need some adjustment to meet this time
budget. Also, please take any discussion of which packages are and are
not included to tech-pkg or pkgsrc-users. The intent is to provide a
maximally useful set of a given size, but that's naturally difficult
to define.
