Annotation of pkgsrc/ham/gnuradio-ctrlport/DESCR, Revision 1.1
1.1 ! mef 1: GNU Radio is a collection of software that when combined with minimal hardware,
! 2: allows the construction of radios where the actual waveforms transmitted and
! 3: received are defined by software. What this means is that it turns the digital
! 4: modulation schemes used in today's high performance wireless devices into
! 5: software problems.
! 6:
! 7: ControlPort is a new set of hooks into GNU Radio to allow a remote client to
! 8: attach to a running GNU Radio program and get and set parameters. It's quite a
! 9: powerful concept with an SDR application, and we think that there are tons of
! 10: ways to use this to improve on current work and to think of entirely new ways
! 11: of using SDR.
