devel: Remove sfio. Now unused in pkgsrc and fails due to K&Risms.

Comment out dead sites.

Declare vsscanf consistent with modern systems. Continue on parentheses
related warnings from clang.

Drop superfluous PKG_DESTDIR_SUPPORT, "user-destdir" is default these days.

Force MKPROFILE=yes to avoid PLIST divergence.

Add user-destdir installation support.

No need custom do-extract target, cpio will take care well automatically.

Not MAKE_JOBS_SAFE.

Second round of explicit pax dependencies. As reminded by tnn@,
many packages used to use ${PAX}. Use the common way of directly calling
pax, it is created as tool after all.

Replaced the deprecated INSTALLATION_DIRS_FROM_PLIST with AUTO_MKDIRS,
to shut up the pkglint warnings.

Needs pre-created directories.

Patch provided by Sergey Svishchev in private mail.

Mechanically replaced man/* with ${PKGMANDIR}/* in the definition of
INSTALLATION_DIRS, as well as all occurrences of ${PREFIX}/man with
${PREFIX}/${PKGMANDIR}.

Fixes PR 35265, although I did not use the patch provided therein.

Point MAINTAINER to pkgsrc-users@NetBSD.org in the case where no
developer is officially maintaining the package.

The rationale for changing this from "tech-pkg" to "pkgsrc-users" is
that it implies that any user can try to maintain the package (by
submitting patches to the mailing list).  Since the folks most likely
to care about the package are the folks that want to use it or are
already using it, this would leverage the energy of users who aren't
developers.

Use INSTALLATION_DIRS to pre-create man/man3.
(Else man3 would become a manpage and break many other installs.)

Move WRKSRC definition away from the first paragraph in a Makefile.

Use tech-pkg@ in favor of packages@ as MAINTAINER for orphaned packages.
Should anybody feel like they could be the maintainer for any of thewe packages,
please adjust.

make usage of pax more consistent, use -O to bomb on broken archives
(suggested by lukem), group z, r and f flags.

some whitespace cleanup.

make ${PAX} usage consistent:

- group 'zrw' and 'p' args, -s last
- use the && operator consistently
- strip unneeded parens
- some whitespace cleanup

Place WRKSRC where it belongs, to make pkglint happy; ok'ed by wiz.

Deprecate NO_WRKSUBDIR, replacing it with an explicit assignment of:

WRKSRC= ${WRKDIR}

This is much cleaner, much more indicative of what happens, and removes
another of the negative definitions (NO_.* = value).

Update to new COMMENT style: COMMENT var in Makefile instead of pkg/COMMENT.

update from 1998 release to 1999 release.
no changelog available from master distribution.  from "diff", 1998 -> 1999
contains minor changes only.

add comments into Makefile; (1) sendmail wants 1999 release, not 2000 release,
(2) master distribution license (need to sign but redistribution is granted).

replaced some commands by their ${COMMAND} counterparts

Convert this package to use native Makefiles.
Sync the manual page with reality.

Initial import of sfio-1998, the Safe and Fast IO library from AT&T,
into the NetBSD packages collection.  This package includes a
stdio-compatible library.
