A replacement candidate is in wip/py-mol but needs more work.

math/blas, math/lapack: Install interchangeable BLAS system

Install the new interchangeable BLAS system created by Thomas Orgis,
currently supporting Netlib BLAS/LAPACK, OpenBLAS, cblas, lapacke, and
Apple's Accelerate.framework.  This system allows the user to select any
BLAS implementation without modifying packages or using package options, by
setting PKGSRC_BLAS_TYPES in mk.conf. See mk/blas.buildlink3.mk for details.

This commit should not alter behavior of existing packages as the system
defaults to Netlib BLAS/LAPACK, which until now has been the only supported
implementation.

Details:

Add new mk/blas.buildlink3.mk for inclusion in dependent packages
Install compatible Netlib math/blas and math/lapack packages
Update math/blas and math/lapack MAINTAINER approved by adam@
OpenBLAS, cblas, and lapacke will follow in separate commits
Update direct dependents to use mk/blas.buildlink3.mk
Perform recursive revbump

py-mol: use buildlink for py-numpy

Changed PYTHON_VERSIONS_INCOMPATIBLE to PYTHON_VERSIONS_ACCEPTED; needed for future Python 3.8

Switch packages using GLUT to FreeGLUT.

Start building FreeGLUT with GLUT compatibility on.

- GLUT's maintainance state is much worse than FreeGLUT's, with no
  substanital commits since 2011.
- GLUT can no longer be consider a core component of Mesa or X11.
- Nobody except us seems to be using it...

Other vendors still shipping GLUT:
- GoboLinux, T2 SDE, PLD Linux

Revbump packages using GLUT or freeglut by default.

Revbump after updating graphics/glew

fix some whitespace, mostly introduced in the previous
python 3.4 / 3.5 removal commit.

Omit mentions of python 34 and 35, after those were removed.

- Includes some whitespace changes, to be handled in a separate commit.

extend PYTHON_VERSIONS_ for Python 3.7

Add python-3.6 to incompatible versions.

Remove unnecessary PLIST_SUBST and FILES_SUBST that are now provided
by the infrastructure.

Mark a couple more packages as not ready for python-3.x.

Remove python33: adapt all packages that refer to it.

Extend PYTHON_VERSIONS_INCOMPATIBLE to 35

Recursive revbump following MesaLib update, categories a through f.

Mark packages that are not ready for python-3.3 also not ready for 3.4,
until proven otherwise.

Add standard comment to not-ready-for-python line.

Mark as not ready for python-3.x.
While here, slightly clean up Makefile and fix conflict with itself
by adding ${PYVERSSUFFIX} to pymol binary.
Bump PKGREVISION.

Convert to versioned_dependencies.mk for Pmw.

Try to fix the fallout caused by the fix for PR pkg/47882. Part 3:

Recursively bump package revisions again after the "freetype2" and
"fontconfig" handling was fixed.

Bump freetype2 and fontconfig dependencies to current pkgsrc versions,
to address issues with NetBSD-6(and earlier)'s fontconfig not being
new enough for pango.

While doing that, also bump freetype2 dependency to current pkgsrc
version.

Suggested by tron in PR 47882

Make the gross hack even more gross to ensure the destdir installation
works.

Update to pymol 1.5.0.1:
- bug fixes
- improvements to performance and render quality

Recursive bump for png-1.6.

Bump revision for packages with changed CONFLICTS (PYTHON_SELF_CONFLICT)

CONFLICTS between python modules

"user-destdir" is default these days

Remove python24 and all traces of it from pkgsrc.
Remove devel/py-ctypes (only needed by and supporting python24).
Remove PYTHON_VERSIONS_ACCEPTED and PYTHON_VERSIONS_INCOMPATIBLE
lines that just mirror defaults now.
Miscellaneous cleanup while editing all these files.

Add csh scripts to REPLACE_CSH and add USE_TOOLS+=csh:run

Bump PKGREVISION

Recursive bump for graphics/freetype2 buildlink addition.

python24 is not acceptable.

Update py-mol to 1.4.1.

many improvements and bug fixes.

png shlib name changed for png>=1.5.0, so bump PKGREVISIONs.

Bump PKGREVISION for libpng shlib name change.
Also add some patches to remove use of deprecated symbols and fix other
problems when looking for or compiling against libpng-1.4.x.

user-destdir support

Remove PYBINMODULE. All it did was mark some packages as not available
on some platforms that lacked shared library support in the past. The
list hasn't been maintained at all and the gain is very limited, so just
get rid of it.

Update PYTHON_VERSIONS_COMPATIBLE
- assume that Python 2.4 and 2.5 are compatible and allow checking for
fallout.
- remove PYTHON_VERSIONS_COMPATIBLE that are obsoleted by the 2.3+
default. Modify the others to deal with the removals.

Reimport biology/pymol as py-mol, and change its PKGNAME to follow the
python-in-pkgsrc standards.

Add conflict with old pkgname.

Keep PKGREVISION even though the package has a new name to confuse the
users less.
